Who runs Galleys.pub
Galleys.pub is run by Chandra Prakash Sharma (CP Sharma), who has spent twelve years inside STM journal publishing — copy-editing, production, and indexing submissions across more than thirty journals. He has chased the reviewers and fixed the metadata by hand, and he builds and maintains the OJS sites and the software behind them.
In practice that work shows up as proof, not just experience: 30+ journals deployed on platforms we install and support, and 5,000+ articles screened through QC by Galleys before peer review.
The company operates as CPS TechLabs, a GST-registered proprietorship based in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Why it exists
Every journal office I worked in ran the same checks by hand, on every manuscript, forever: does this author exist, do these references resolve, are the ethics statements present, is the numbering consistent, has this been submitted somewhere else. Careful people did careful work, and it still took hours per paper, and things still got through.
None of that work requires human judgement. Peer review does. Screening doesn’t.
Galleys.pub exists to take the mechanical layer off editorial teams so the human hours go where they actually matter. Everything on offer — OJS setup, hosting, review management, manuscript QC — comes out of that same premise, and out of having done the work by hand first.
How we work with publishers
Scoped separately. Each service is quoted and delivered on its own. Take screening and keep your platform. Take the installation and keep your hosting. Nothing is bundled to force a larger contract.
No estimate before we’ve looked. Every engagement starts with a thirty-minute call and a written scope with fixed pricing — including the services we think you can skip this year.
One person, no hand-offs. The person who scopes the work builds it and supports it afterwards. You will not be routed to a ticket queue.
Your manuscripts stay yours. Uploaded files are handled under the terms set out in Data & confidentiality.
